At the new Maynards on Main for a spectacular evening of art and advocacy.
Unite with Art is a contemporary art auction and gala to benefit UNICEF's Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS campaign. The inaugural gala was held on June 21, 2008 in Vancouver and raised over $276,000 for UNICEF. We are thrilled to present the 3rd Unite With Art event, featuring 90+ generously donated works from high profile regional and national artists in several mediums. In addition to the outstanding art collection, the auction will feature exquisite pieces donated from the fashion and design world.
The evening will include fine cuisine courtesy of the city's best restaurants, a cocktail and dessert reception, luscious liquids, and live entertainment.
Through the generous contribution of artists, galleries, sponsors and volunteers, Unite with Art aims to donate 100% of the art proceeds to this UNICEF campaign.
Tickets are $200.00 and can be purchased online at www.unitewithart.com or by calling UNICEF at 604-874-3666 ext. 8124
This initiative is an urgent response to one of the worst epidemics our world has ever faced. Through Unite with Art's standards in art and production, our aim is to raise awareness and funds to assist UNICEF's Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS campaign, dedicated to the eradication of this pandemic. more

Over 2 million children under the age of 15 live with HIV, mostly due to mother-child transmissions. These children have fallen victim to this pandemic the world over, reaching from sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Asia, to the Americas. Efforts to expand health care services and prevention measures will enable Unicef UNICEF to achieve a goal that will see a future generation of children living in an AIDS free world.
The Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS campaign's mandate is to fight against this pandemic by supporting, caring, protecting, and supplying treatment to millions of children and adolescents. In the destructive path of this disease, many are still at risk and desperately need the resources to combat HIV/AIDS. To make an impact to ensure that millions more will not be infected and affected by AIDS, the mobilization of international resources must happen. The aim is to halt and begin to reverse the spread of HIV/AIDS by the year 2015.
