I am honoured and delighted to welcome you to our fourth Unite with Art auction and gala benefiting UNICEF Canada. I thank-you wholeheartedly for choosing to support UNICEF; the world's leading advocate for children's rights. By being here tonight you are helping an organization recognized globally for its steadfast commitment to improving the lives of countless children.

Art defines and informs our culture and humanity. It is a privilege to be able to showcase some of Canada's finest established and emerging artists in this evening's auction. I express my gratitude to the artists who have made this event possible with their exceptional contributions of contemporary art.

This event would not exist without the benevolence of our generous sponsors. My deepest appreciation and respect for her continued commitment goes out to Alison Lawton and Mindset Social Innovation Foundation. I would also like to thank Teck, Newalta, Vision Critical, Deans Knight, and Arn Schoch, as well as all of the gracious in-kind sponsors, friends and donors.
